The player assumes control of Heather, a 17-year-old girl who wakes up from a nightmare in a mall restaurant and attempts to return home to her father in the survival horror video game Silent Hill 3. The player must navigate environments that alternate between reality and the Otherworld, a more violent, supernatural world.
